button must be secured by lock stitch machine where possible or knotted off 4 times so as not to fall off
when whipping button ensure the button is whipped several times and again knotted of 4 times to secure
sink stitch must not be visible  sink means sinking through a seam and not sewing 1 cm from it
sequins must be knotted off on every 5 th sequin the float must not be longer than 1 cm

when waistbands are fastened they must finish level i.e. no steps

zips must be auto or semi auto lock ensure invisible zips are sewn  0.3mm from the teeth so the fabric doesn't get caught in the teeth can you also ensure the zips are suitable for the fabric and always put a hook &eye at the top to help strengthen the securing of the zip plus a fabric stopper must always sit at the base of the invisible zip to strengthen the seam
