The Charm Of  Oriental·China International Underwear Creative Design Contest 2021 Submissions Wanted

Contest Description
Founded in 2012, the Charm Of Oriental·China International Underwear Creative Design Contest is an industrial contest hosted by Shenzhen Underwear Association, Committee of Shenzhen Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen Guangming District People’s Government, China Knitting Industry Association, and Guangdong Textile Association and Hongkong Intimate Apparel industries’ Association. So far, it has become one of the largest professional contests with the most extensive coverage, the largest entries and the most social influence in Chinese underwear industry. It holds important impact in China and abroad. Since 2014, the contest has been listed as one of ‘ the Eight Key Support Industrial Design Contests’ by Shenzhen Municipal Government.

Contest Mission
The contest provides a professional stage to those who are dedicated in lingerie design, and strives to introduce the best lingerie design talents to China even to the world. By pushing forward the creative design, the contest aims to drive the transformation and upgrading of the entire lingerie industry.

Entry conditions
Domestic and foreign professional designers, teachers and students of fashion professional colleges and universities, and freelancers who has passion on design are welcome - irrespective of age.

Theme description:
"FUN" refers to  fun. "Si" means unrestrained. It is intended to guide designers to break the routine, release the wanton thoughts in their minds, and capture and make fun! Design fun and unrestrained underwear to fight against the boring, rigid and depressive world!



Pattern-making instructions
The organization committee will provide contestants selected with technical support of garment pattern-making.

1 First Prize: Reward with RMB50,000 
1 Second Prize: Reward with RMB20,000 
1 Third Prize:Reward with RMB10,000 
3 Excellence Awards:Reward with RMB2,000 
1Most commercial value award: Reward with RMB3,000 
1 Best online Popularity Award: Reward with RMB3,000

*15 groups of works are selected into the final round.
* Contestants selected are able to obtain Certificate of Honor and Certificate of Advisor that are issued by the organization committee
* The organizer of the contest reserves the right of final interpretation.

Entry requirements
1. Contestants shall design the entry works in series according to the theme of the requirements, each series contains 5 sets of underwear together with accessories.
2. The entries must be the author’s original design and published for the first time. Those who participated in another contests at home and abroad cannot attend the contest. Entries shall not be submitted more than one draft or copy. If found any illegal behavior exists, it will be disqualified (including it is awarded).
3. Works shall be with rich imagination and creativity, in accordance with the theme of the contest and the international trend. Try to use innovative materials or with creative technique of expression and complete the work through simple ways. The overall visual effect is trying to be perfect. And it can lead popular value for the development trend of home clothing. 
4. Entries for each series of works must be completed in accordance with the following requirements and submit the relevant registration procedures:
1) To submit the color effect diagram and the design of the structure of a map (size: 40CM * 27CM), hand drawn or digital print draft is also be OK;
2) To be attached with fabric swatches  (5CM * 5CM)
3) The effect diagram, structure diagram, fabric styles are indispensable and the name of the author and the related information must not be appeared on the positive side. It will be cancelled the qualification if it doesn’t meet the above requirements.
4) The upper left side of the effect chart indicates the name of the work;
5) The lower right corner of the effect chart indicates the author’s name,registration number (online registration system automatically generated) (Required), organization, telephone number,(Must be consistent with the "entry form" to fill in the content). Please write neatly and clearly, as a result of controversy, the organizing committee will not take any responsibility.

Register on line and upload effect pictures and style diagrams in electronic edition
2) Mail your design works to the organizer (please mark the designer's information on the back of works at the request of contest)


Notes
1. For the manuscripts and the finished goods sent from the author’s location, the delivery process of safety and insurance is responsible by the participants themselves.
2. The transportation and accommodation cost to participate in the finals will be borne by the organizing committee (it will be announced later).
3. The manuscripts and clothing will not be returned, please keep manuscripts by yourselves. The copyright belongs to the organizing committee. The organizer of the entries (including design and clothing samples) has the published right, including publican, performances, publishing.
4. If there are the third party on the relevant issues related to intellectual property rights and other related issues, it will be on the authors’ account; the organizing committee does not bear any responsibility.

The results of preliminary competition will be updated to the official account of contest in Wechat.
