《Les Nymphéas》为主题是为了向莫奈一生为了艺术创作而游走法国与欧洲致敬。印象派大师克劳德·莫奈是西方绘画史上最伟大的风景画家之一，终其一生乐此不疲花费大量心力与感情建设吉维尼花园并获得源源不断的灵感。其《睡莲》可说是其最具代表性的系列之一。
