On May 17, 2018, the Graduation Works Show of the College of Fashion and Design Art, Sichuan Normal University was held at 79 Tank, 751D• PARK in Beijing. For the theme of "Sharing •Intelligent Manufacture", sharing involves the exchange and sharing of human culture, information and technology, and implies and gives insight into various topics in human life. With the concept of "sharing" as their graduation design theme, these graduates explored the interpretation of experimental works, and practiced the transformation of "concept" in clothing through creative conception, clothing modeling, material and texture, and expressional design language, to make design into fashion works themselves. The core of shared intelligent manufacture lies in innovation and collaboration, intelligent creation and intelligent manufacturing. Emphasizing the permeation of the time spirit in works, combination of art and technology, and balance between experiment and practice, they presented the design originality of “Made in China” with their own understanding and attitude, interpreted the design positioning and original intention with purity in their heart and craftiness in their hands, and insisted on designing the inner energy origin from the perspective of thinking and analysis, rather than pursuing after popularity or paying tribute to classic. These graduation works highlight the reshaping and breakthrough of the theme design and express the thought experiments of these students on the basis of paying attention to design ontological knowledge after they researched the commonality of the theme connotation and clothing space shaping and practiced various possibilities for expressional techniques. With the design ideas of "nonphysical method, technological flow, and original intention", these graduates tried to weave meanings and derivate clothing on multiple levels such as conceptual design, narrative design, structural design, and behavior design by combing the traditions and attaching attention to phenomena. They kept innovative thinking of fashion research in the whole process of creation and production for the purpose of the breakthrough of the design theme. The real world has diverse demands, and there are all kinds of possibilities in the future world. Any single power is difficult to face the changing future. These graduates of this year broke through the conventional and rational thought in the behavior practice of sharing thought and intelligent creation, make those materials and techniques with unexpected feeling collide with science and technology, so as to show the associated thinking from plane to three-dimension and to space embedded in these works, and also form the concept and aesthetics of the works in a variety of materials, expressional media, texture techniques, and comprehensive fashion. The whole show presents the infinite creativity of the students who express what they think about.
