2018大连工业大学服装学院毕业生作品发布会在京举行——“Can and Can’t”

“Can and Can’t” 

    大连工业大学服装学院（School of Fashion, Dalian Polytechnic University）毕业设计作品发布会于2018年5月13日在北京751D•PARK七九罐举行。

    本次毕业设计作品发布主题为“Can and Can’t”，寓意不同材质，不同颜色，不同思维之间迸发的多元碰撞。在不断的试验中改变自己的想法；在反复的尝试与颠覆中迸发灵感火花；“Can and Can’t”并非单一而固定的词缀，在其中会衍生出fashionable，imaginable，renewable等多种语意，意味着作品在不断实践与改变中被创造着，一切都有可能，或不可能……年轻的学子们历经四年的积淀与酝酿，在时装周的舞台上演绎精心编织的青春梦想，带着勇气与祝福踏上新征程。

    本次展演共发布20个系列78套作品。通过设计作品传递时代气息的同时，专业教师更注重引导学生尊重传统文化，将对经典与传统的认知，融合独特思想内涵，注入作品的每一个细节并借此传达给观众。作品注重新材料与新工艺的探索运用，注重技术与艺术之间的相互渗透，尝试将传统手工技法与材料创新设计融合，营造细腻丰富又多元的视觉体验。突破固有思维的的束缚，直触心灵深处的设计更倾向于毕业生的个性化思考与个人情感表达，强调主流意识的同时，围绕人文关怀展开设计的触角。今年是大连工业大学服装学院连续第七次在大学生时装周发布毕业设计作品，从服装设计、造型设计、表演编导、模特展示到影像记录，均由服装与服饰设计、表演、摄影和形象设计等多专业及方向100余名师生共同协力完成，充分展现了服装学院各专业方向的优势特色与综合实力。 

     大连工业大学服装学院成立于1985年，目前设有服装与服饰设计、服装设计与工程、表演及摄影四个本科专业，拥有纺织科学与工程、设计学、美术学三门学科硕士学位以及纺织科学与工程博士学位授予权。学院以“夯实基础、拓展能力、注重创新、突出特色”为指导思想，构建全方位、多层次、开放式、交叉互动的生态实践教学体系，不断深化教学改革, 2014年荣获国家级教学成果二等奖。学院拥有国家级实验教学示范中心、国家级人才培养模式创新实验区、国家级专业综合改革试点、国家级特色专业建设点、省级重点实验室等优势资源，被教育部授予全国教育系统先进集体、中国十大时装名校等多项称号。学院注重艺术与技术创新相结合、理论知识与社会实践相结合，不断优化知识结构，提高各学科间知识的融合、交叉、渗透，创造活跃的学术氛围和良好的育人环境，培养出大批高素质的创意产业高级复合应用型人才。

2018 Final Work Release of Dalian Polytechnic University’ School of Fashion

“Can and Can’t”

The Final Work Release of Dalian Polytechnic University’s School of Fashion was convened in 79 Tank of 751D•PARK in Beijing on May 13th, 2018.

The subject of this year’s final work release is themed of “Can and Can’t”, which implies the collision of distinctive materials, colors and thoughts. To change our minds through unceasing experiments; to spark inspirations through repeated trying and overturns; “Can and Can’t” is not simply a set phrase, but would derive multiple connotations including fashionable, imaginable and renewable, etc. It implies that the works are in the middle of creation through constant practice and changes and that everything is possible or impossible… After four years of accumulation and preparation, the students would display their exquisitely knitted dream of youth on the arena of the Fashion Week and embark on a new journey with courage and blessing.

This release presents 78 sets of works of 20 various series. Professional instructors lay more stress upon leading students to esteem traditional culture while delivering the spirit of the times through designs, so as to inject their conception in classics and tradition as well as unique thoughts and connotations into every single detail of the works. They emphasize in the exploration and application of new materials and techniques; mutual permeation of technology and art; try to integrate traditional handicrafts with innovative design of materials; and establish elaborate, substantial and diversified visual experience. The designs that break through restraints of conventional thinking and reaches directly to the bottom of heart are more inclined to the individual thinking and emotional expression of the graduates, which stretch out the tentacles of design centered on humanistic care at the meantime of emphasizing mainstream consciousness.
